AI isn’t the problem, performance is

Right now, AI is exposing something most organisations don’t measure well — trust.

I recently revisited a short video I recorded over a year ago and was surprised to see it had reached over 18,000 views. But what I really loved was that people were staying with the message.

Because this isn’t just about AI, it’s about what determines whether anything new is adopted, trusted, and used to create value.

Without trust:
💠people hesitate
💠decisions slow
💠adoption stalls.

And no amount of capability fixes that.

Most organisations measure: time, cost, outputs, participation, NPS. But these are lag indicators and do not provide the insight managers and leaders need to make the right choices. They tell us what happened, not why.

The real driver sits earlier: trust.

That’s the focus of my work and my book, Rethink Performance.
